Live feeder mealworms which are locally harvested, fresh and fully hydrated at the time of your order. Available in packs of approximately 50 g.
Mealworms are the larvae of the Darkling beetle and an excellent feeder insect containing approximately 20% protein, moderately high amount of fat and a balanced amino acid content.
Best fed with a tweezer or in a container due to their ability to burrow into the substrate. For reptiles, it is recommended to dust with a calcium supplement prior to feeding (available for purchase by request) as mealworms are low in calcium and high in phosphorous. Gut loading by providing the worms with nutritious vegetables 24 hours before feeding is advisable to increase nutritional value.
Suitable for insect eating large fish, reptiles, chicks, and birds.
Dry goods are dispatched daily and can take 1 to 5 working days to arrive.
Live fish, live plants, and frozen food require 2 to 7 working days or more due to special handling requirements. Delivery to Distant areas (Out of city and over 30 km radius) requires to be inquired by contacting our customer service before the order is placed.

There is strictly no replacement, return, or refund on any live animal and no guarantee or warranty on all livestocks after adding them to your aquarium. DOA (Dead On Arrival) must be notified immediately with proof and will be rewarded with a replacement or credit note.
All our live stocks are thoroughly tested and quarantined before packing and guaranteed to arrive free of tapeworms or diseases.
Tropical fish and inverts must be expected to lose color during transport and will arrive pale or white, a proper environment and diet is needed to regain coloration.
Any death or illnss of live animals after being added to an aquarium cannot be replaced or refunded. If such problems are encountered then it is connected to aquarium conditions or noncompatible tank mates (e.g. mixing with fish or plants from other sources).
Fish acclimation to a new aquarium is the sole responsibility of the buyer and not the Discus.ae delivery team.
