Artemia Cysts American Eagle are Brine Shrimp eggs with hatch rate of over 90% from the Great Salt Lake in the USA. This premium quality choice is available here in sealed 50g foil packs, preserving the quality of the eggs which can be stored for a long time and hatched on demand to provide a convenient form of live feed for larval fish, crabs, lobsters, crayfish, shrimp, krill.
The newly hatched Brine Shrimps are considered the best food source for all baby fish, when first hatched the Brine Shrimp larvae contain a nutritious yolk sac and they have the ability to survive in fresh water for up to 6 hours. These eggs must be hatched following the directions outlined below, do not feed the unhatched eggs to your fish.
- Easy to breed.
- Clean and free from germs.
- Food for baby fish and shrimps.
- For the fish to use as zooplankton in the aquarium.
- Artemia can be raised to adult by using green algae as food.
Hatching Instructions:
- Use salt water or fresh water with salinity of 25-28 ppt
- Use an air pump to blow oxygen
- Add 1 teaspoon approximately per 300 fish fry
- Optimum pH is 7.5 - 8.5
- Density of eggs should not exceed 5g per liter
- Water temperature 28° – 30° celsius
- Incubation period for optimum hatching time is 24 - 36 hours
- If water is cold it may take 36 - 48 hours
Dry goods are dispatched daily and can take 1 to 5 working days to arrive.
Live fish, live plants, and frozen food require 2 to 7 working days or more due to special handling requirements. Delivery to Distant areas (Out of city and over 30 km radius) requires to be inquired by contacting our customer service before the order is placed.

There is strictly no replacement, return, or refund on any live animal and no guarantee or warranty on all livestocks after adding them to your aquarium. DOA (Dead On Arrival) must be notified immediately with proof and will be rewarded with a replacement or credit note.
All our live stocks are thoroughly tested and quarantined before packing and guaranteed to arrive free of tapeworms or diseases.
Tropical fish and inverts must be expected to lose color during transport and will arrive pale or white, a proper environment and diet is needed to regain coloration.
Any death or illnss of live animals after being added to an aquarium cannot be replaced or refunded. If such problems are encountered then it is connected to aquarium conditions or noncompatible tank mates (e.g. mixing with fish or plants from other sources).
Fish acclimation to a new aquarium is the sole responsibility of the buyer and not the Discus.ae delivery team.
