Åpex - Koi HR (Super Veil)

Our rare and exclusive Åpex select grade Koi HR (high coverage) are a special orange Angelfish originated from a cross between a German and American bloodline which began development since the 1980s. The color is highly reactive to their diet and environment where the vibrancy can fade under stress and during transport, please refer to our Åpex instruction care sheet for tips on caring for this strain which is hardy and grows highly colorful in an ideal environment with the correct diet.
Super Veil are more sensitive to handling and not recommended for aquariums under 45 cm height. Strong water flow from filters or water pumps should be avoided, the Super Veil variety require calm water environment and peaceful companions with extra care to their water condition.
Åpex Angelfish
The elegant and graceful Angelfish (P. Scalare) is a popular tropical fish that is easy to keep given that enough space and quality water conditions are provided, making this beautiful and relaxing fish a staple choice for community tanks and large planted aquascapes. Angelfish also belong to the Cichlidae family and a distant relative of our beloved Discus fish and butterfly cichlids, sharing similar environmental and behavioral traits.
Our unique Åpex Angels are disease free strains that were raised in a sterilized environment using unmatched handling methods to provide risk-free stocks, producing healthy Angels that are safe for our Discus and companion species.

There is strictly no replacement, return, or refund on any live animal and no guarantee or warranty on all livestocks after adding them to your aquarium. DOA (Dead On Arrival) must be notified immediately with proof and will be rewarded with a replacement or credit note.
All our live stocks are thoroughly tested and quarantined before packing and guaranteed to arrive free of tapeworms or diseases.
Tropical fish and inverts must be expected to lose color during transport and will arrive pale or white, a proper environment and diet is needed to regain coloration.
Any death or illnss of live animals after being added to an aquarium cannot be replaced or refunded. If such problems are encountered then it is connected to aquarium conditions or noncompatible tank mates (e.g. mixing with fish or plants from other sources).
Fish acclimation to a new aquarium is the sole responsibility of the buyer and not the Discus.ae delivery team.
