Anubias barteri var. glabra from West Africa is a beautiful plant with long, narrow leaves. 10-20 cm tall with a rhizome, from which the leaves develop, that grows 10-15 cm or larger. Very easy to grow since it thrives in almost any conditions, although high light intensity should be avoided. Place it instead in shady positions under larger plants. If planted in the bottom, do not cover the rhizome, it tends to rot. It is not eaten by herbivorous fish.
Anubias barteri var. glabra used to be sold as Anubias afzelii, but the latter is actually a much larger species.

There is strictly no replacement, return, or refund on any live animal and no guarantee or warranty on all livestocks after adding them to your aquarium. DOA (Dead On Arrival) must be notified immediately with proof and will be rewarded with a replacement or credit note.
All our live stocks are thoroughly tested and quarantined before packing and guaranteed to arrive free of tapeworms or diseases.
Tropical fish and inverts must be expected to lose color during transport and will arrive pale or white, a proper environment and diet is needed to regain coloration.
Any death or illnss of live animals after being added to an aquarium cannot be replaced or refunded. If such problems are encountered then it is connected to aquarium conditions or noncompatible tank mates (e.g. mixing with fish or plants from other sources).
Fish acclimation to a new aquarium is the sole responsibility of the buyer and not the Discus.ae delivery team.
